Flying Grapefruit on the Bus By: Beth Whittington

One morning while on the bus from Hillcrest to the High School, I was sitting in the front seat minding my own business (I really was), when a grapefruit hit me square in the back of the head. I don't know if it was a whole one that busted on my head or if someone busted it first and then threw it, but I do remember the plop on the back of my head and the sticky pulp in my hair when I got to school. The word "mad" would be an understatement. I think I may have started driving to school right after that.
